The closing date for the Invitation Graded Tournament is 28th February.

Some places still remain, but players are advised to enter quickly to avoid disappointment.

Please take this opportunity to show your support for a Leamington player - it would be great to see a large number of local players taking part.

West Midlands Tournament

The club sent its top under 14 players to the West Midlands ranking tournament in April and secured 4 places in the Nationals, to be held later this year. Considering many of our players had never appeared at this level before, their achievement was outstanding.

Healthy Competition

Last month we witnessed one of the most significant events in local table-tennis history when National Ladies Champion and club President, Kelly Sibley, attended a fund-raising tournament superbly organised by Dot and her “Olympic Dream” committee and then presented an exhibition with her coach Alan Cooke. It made the many club members who attended proud to think that Kelly started her table-tennis with us under Tom’s skilful guidance and it took me back to when I used to coach her Mum! (Lynn was a Warwickshire Ladies Champion).  We raised over £4 000 for Kelly’s Olympic bid and the exhibition was inspiring. I am glad so many players came and I hope you will all strive to be better as a result.
