Coaching & Practise
Lillington Free Church Table Tennis Club is committed to providing coaching to help develop its junior members, as well as providing the senior members of the club coaching opportunities too.
During the close season, over the summer, the Club tries to organise coaching sessions for players on either a Monday or a Wednesday evening. The Club provides opportunities for players of all ages and standards. Sometimes sessions are run by coaches within the Club and other times an external coach is recruited.
Running on the same timetable as school terms, coaching on a Saturday morning is also available. This is divided into one-hour sessions. The first session is for beginners and is a good place to start to learn the game. The later sessions are for players of a higher standard, most of whom will be League players.
The Club also tries to arrange an organised Club night throughout the season and, where possible, during the Summer too.
