Lillington Free Church Table Tennis Club is committed to providing coaching to help develop it's junior members, as well as trying to provide the senior members of the club coaching opportunities too. During the close season, over the summer, the Club tries to organise coaching sessions for players on either a Monday or a Wednesday evening. The Club tries to provide opportunities for players of all ages and standards. Sometimes sessions are run by coaches within the Club and sometimes an external coach is recruited. Running on the same time table as school terms, coaching on a Saturday morning is also available. This is divided into one-hour sessions. The first session is for beginners and is a good place to start to learn the game. The later sessions are for players of a higher standard, most of whom will be League players.
The Club also tries to arrange an organised Club night during the latter stages of the Summer, to provide players with the opportunity for some pre-season practice. |

Saturday morning coaching is held at Bishops Tachbrook School, Kingsley Road, Bishops Tachbrook. It is run throughout the school year, meeting most Saturdays during term time. It is not held during school holidays, or if the Club is holding one of it's tournaments and the players are competing in it.

This season (2009/10), the Club has arranged it's team's matches such that every Wednesday we are able to hold a Club Night. This will be held at Lillington Free Church Youth Centre.

With the membership of Club thriving, we have become conscious that the Saturday morning sessions are becoming very crowded, which makes it more difficult for members to get table time and coaching opportunities.
