This year, the League Committee have decided to reintroduce town trials for the Cadets. These trials are to be held on Tuesday 14th September 2010 and will be hosted by us, at Lillington Free Church Youth Centre.
The trials are primarily being held as a selection process for the Heart of England Cadet League, although any outstanding performers may also then be considered when putting together the Leamington Junior side for the Midland Junior League.
Leamington may enter one or two teams in the Heart of England Cadet League, depending on the number of players able to commit. The top four players from the trials will form the first team squad and, if applicable, the next four will form the second team squad. Players finishing outside the top four (or eight) will be placed on the reserve list. (The Heart of England Cadet League uses teams of three players, so depending on the number of players able to commit, it may be necessary to reduce one or both of the squads to three players).
