Dear members,
It was great to see so many of our red, club shirts on show at the tournament on Saturday!! This was the first tournament at the new venue and as usual the event was run flawlessly by club members Hugh and Cherry Matthews. I found that entering really helped for the league match that followed. Whether you win or lose it always helps to play new/different opponents and try things out to see what works and what doesn't.
When you're at the tournaments please feel free to seek advice from any of the club coaches present or fellow players - let's help each other to improve at all levels. And, how many of you spotted our club president and international superstar player Kelly Sibley at the tournament? I'm sure she'd love to speak to you, whether you just want to say hi or receive some useful tips.
I heartily recommend that if you haven't entered our tournament before that you do so in the future.
